Gary, as with many trades’ professionals in the area, started his career at Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning in Bridgeville, DE. Gary began his career in 1983 as a helper. That same year he started taking classes at Wor-Wic community college, and soon decided to go to Sussex Technical School and then on to Delaware Technical Community College rounding out his formal training in the industry.
With his extensive tenure and experience in the trade, Gary has seen a lot of changes from his first days at Comfort, and now at National HVAC Service, where he is the commercial service manager. Gary says of his career path, “it has given me the opportunity to see and work on just about everything in our field, unique applications such as cascade refrigeration systems, centrifugal chillers, oil and gas boilers, controls and commercial refrigeration systems.” Gary enjoys the challenges presented by high end technical systems and takes great pride in his abilities to maintain and repair the more complex systems in the industry.
